This wikiHow will teach you how to change the date and time on a Nintendo Switch. You can choose to enter the date and time manually or synchronize the internal clock over the internet.

Steps

  1. 1
Go to Settings. You'll see this gear icon at the bottom of your screen when you're on the HOME menu.
  2. 2
Navigate to System. It's in the vertical menu along the left side of the screen under "Controllers and Sensors" and "TV Settings."
    • When you navigate to "System" in the menu on the left side of the screen, the options in the panel on the right will change.
  3. 3
Select Date and Time. Your current date and time are listed here.
    • Enter your PIN if prompted.
  4. 4
Select either Synchronize Clock via Internet or Manually. If you want the Switch to automatically adjust the time based on your local data, opt to use the internet. To opt to manually change the time, you'll need to choose the time zone, select "Time and Date" again, then set the day, month, year, and time.[1]
