This wikiHow teaches you how to change the topic of a GroupMe conversation on an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

    Open GroupMe on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the white icon with a blue smiling chat bubble inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

    Tap the group for which you want to change the topic. This opens the conversation.

    Tap the group name. It’s at the top of the conversation. A menu will slide out.

    Scroll down and tap Settings. It’s at the bottom of the menu.

    Tap Edit Group. It’s at the top of the screen.

    Tap Topic. A cursor will appear in the box.

    Type a new topic. If a topic is already set, you’ll need to delete. it. To do this, tap at the end of the text, the tap the backspace key until it’s gone.

    Tap the Done key. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the keyboard. The topic will update immediately.
