This wikiHow teaches you how to edit your TikTok username using an iPhone or iPad. You can only change your TikTok username once every 30 days.[1]
Steps

1Open TikTok. This app icon looks like a white, blue, and red music note on a black background. You can find this generally on your home screen.
- Log in if prompted.
- If you don't have TikTok downloaded, you can get it for free from the App Store.

2Tap the profile icon labeled “Me.” This icon looks like the outline of a person. You'll find this in the bottom menu to the right.

3Tap Edit Profile button.

4Tap your username. You'll find this next to the profile icon. By default, your username is your TikTok ID.

5Tap Got it. This is just a pop up warning that you have to wait 30 days before you can change your username again.

6Edit the text for your new username. The username field is prefilled with the old username text.

7Tap Save. You'll find this in the upper right corner of your screen.
- You might get an error saying the username you picked is taken, in which case you'll need to pick a different username.
- Your username is changed from the TikTok ID to your entered username. You can't change this again for 30 days.
