How to Cancel Norton on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to disable, uninstall, and cancel a Norton security subscription on your Android phone. First, you will need to disable Device Administrator permissions for Norton, then you can Uninstall the Norton app on your device. You can cancel your Norton subscription using the Norton website on your phone's mobile browser.

Disable Device Administrator for Norton

Open your Android's Settings
. You can tap the Settings app in the app drawer, or you can swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon in the top-right of the notification drawer.

Tap Lock screen and security. It has an image of a lock next to it.

Tap Other security settings. It's at the bottom of the "Lock screen and security" menu.

Tap Device administrators. It's under the "Device administration" header.

Uncheck "Norton Mobile Security". Tap the circle with the checkmark across from Norton Mobile Security.

Tap Deactivate. It's in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will prompt a confirmation pop-up.

Tap OK. It's in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up window. This will disable Norton's ability to make changes to your device.

Uninstalling Norton on Android

Tap Norton Mobile Security. All your installed apps are listed in alphabetical order.

Tap Unistall. It's below the app name at the top. This will prompt a confirmation pop-up.

Tap OK. It's in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up window. This will uninstall the Norton app on your Android phone.

Canceling a Norton Subscription

Go to https://login.norton.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser you have installed on your Android device.

Sign in to Norton. Log in with the email address and password associated with your Norton account.

Tap Automatic Renewal Settings. It's in a box to the right.

Tap the slider bar to turn off automatic renewal. You will see a list of all the Norton products you subscribe to. If you see a green slider bar with a checkmark, automatic renewal is turned on. Tap the green slider bar to turn off automatic renewal. Your subscription will end after the current billing cycle.
