How to Cancel HBO Now on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to cancel an HBO Now subscription on an Android phone. You'll need to cancel your HBO Now subscription using the same method you used when signing up for HBO Now. If you subscribed to HBO Now using the HBO Now app, you'll need to cancel the subscription in the Google Play Store. If you subscribed to HBO with Hulu or Amazon Prime Video, you'll need to cancel the subscription in those apps respectively. If you are getting billed for HBO Now through your cable provider, or some other source, you will need to contact that provider to cancel HBO.

In the Google Play Store

Open the Google Play Store

Tap ☰. It's in the top-left corner of the page in the search bar.

Tap Account. It's next to the square icon that resembles a person.

Tap Subscriptions. It's next to the yellow icon of revolving arrows.

Tap HBO Now in the list. It's next to the black icon that says HBO Now or HBO Go.

Tap MANAGE. This option will appear when you've selected the HBO Now subscription. This will open a pop-up window.

Tap Cancel Subscription. Your subscription will be canceled.
- If you don't see HBO Now in your list of subscriptions, your HBO Now subscription may go through another service provider, or you may need to log in with the same Google account you used to purchase your subscription to HBO Now.

In the Hulu App

Open Hulu. It's the green app that says "hulu" in white letters.

Tap Account. It's the icon that resembles a person at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Tap Account. It's the first option at the top of the list, under your account name.
- You may be asked to re-enter your password again for security purposes.

Tap Manage. It's in the"Add-ons" section.

Scroll down and tap You Have This. It's in the HBO section. The text will change to "You Want to Remove This".

Scroll down and tap Continue. It's the green button at the bottom. This will cancel your HBO subscription through Hulu.

In the Amazon Prime Video App

Open Amazon Prime Video. It's the app with the white icon with the Amazon logo that says "Prime Video".

Tap ☰. It's the button with the three vertical lines in the upper-left corner. This will open a pop-out menu from the left.

Tap Settings. It's the second option from the bottom of the menu. This will open a new pop-out menu from the right.

Tap Manage Your Amazon Channels. It's the third option from the bottom of the menu.

Type your Amazon password and tap Sign In. You are required to provide your password in order to edit your channel subscriptions.

Tap your HBO subscription. HBO will be listed in Your Channels.

Tap Cancel Channel. This will display a confirmation popup window.

Tap Cancel to confirm your cancellation. You can still view HBO until the end of your billing cycle. After which, the channel will be cancelled and you will no longer be charged for HBO.
