How to Cancel HBO Now

This wikiHow teaches you how to cancel HBO Now on a Windows or Mac computer. You'll need to cancel HBO Now using the same service you used to sign up for HBO such as DirectTV, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Hulu, Roku, or PlayStation Vue. If you subscribe to HBO as a part of a Cable TV or Satellite plan, you'll need to contact your service provider to cancel HBO. If you aren't sure which service you used to subscribe to HBO with, check the service that is billing you on your bank statements.

Method 1

Method 1 of 8:
On Google Play

Go to https://play.google.com/ in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Google Play store website to manage your subscriptions.

Tap Sign in and log into your Google account. It's the blue button in the top-right corner of the page. Log in with the email and password associated with your Google account and press "Next" to sign in.
- Skip this step if you're already logged in to your Google account.

Tap Account. It's in the left column under the "Devices" option.

Click Cancel Subscription across form HBO Now. It's located in the "Subscriptions" list on your Google Play account. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

Method 2

Method 2 of 8:
On iTunes

Open iTunes. Double-click the app that has the image of a white circle with a pink, purple, and blue music note in the middle. This will launch the iTunes app on your computer.
- Log in with the email address and password associated with your Apple ID, if you haven't done so already.

Click Account. It's located in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click VIew My Account. It's near the top of the drop-down menu under your account name.
- You may be asked to type the password for your Apple ID again for security.

Click Manage across from "Subscriptions". It's located at the bottom of the page under the "Settings" heading.

Click your HBO Now subscription. It's in the list of your iTunes subscriptions.

Click Cancel Subscription. It's located below the subscription details. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

On the Amazon Appstore

Go to http://www.amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Amazon Appstore to manage your apps and subscriptions.

Log in to Amazon. Type the email address and password associated with your Amazon account and type "Sign in" to log into your account.

Turn off Auto-renewal for your HBO Now subscription. Your HBO Now subscription is located under your list of subscriptions. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

On Amazon Channels (Amazon Prime Video)

Go to https://www.amazon.com/video/subscriptions/manage in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Amazon Channels website to manage your Channel subscriptions.

Log in to Amazon. Use the email address and password associated with your Amazon account to log in.

Select the Cancel Channels option, next to HBO Now. HBO Now will be listed under the "Amazon Channels" section.

Click Confirm. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

On Hulu

Go to http://hulu.com/account in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Hulu account website to manage your Add-on subscriptions.

Log in to your Hulu account. Enter the email address and password associated with your Hulu account and then click "Log In" to log into your Hulu account.

Click Manage. It's located across from "Add-ons" in the box labeled "Your Subscriptions".

Click You Have This under HBO. Scroll down to "Premium Add-ons" to find HBO. When you click the button, the text will change to "You Want To Remove This".

Click Continue. It's the green button at the bottom of the page. Your subscription to HBO Now will end after the current billing cycle.

On DirectTV

Go to https://www.att.com/my/#/login in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the DirectTV Account page to manage your account.

Log in with your user ID and password. Enter your User ID and password and then press "Sign in" at the bottom of the page to log in.

Click Add/Remove Channels.

Click Cancel across from HBO. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

On Roku

Go to http://my.roku.com/ in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the Roku account page to manage your Roku apps and subscriptions.

Log in to your Roku account. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your Roku account, then press "Sign in" at the the bottom to log in.

Click Manage Your Subscriptions.

Click Unsubscribe across from HBO. You will find HBO in your list of Subscriptions. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.

On PlayStation Vue

Go to https://vue.playstation.com/subscription/ in a web browser. Open your preferred web browser and go to the PlayStation Vue account page to manage your Vue subscriptions.

Log in to your PlayStation account. Click "Sign in" in the top-right corner and sign in with the email address and password associated with your PlayStation account.

Click Cancel Subscription across form HBO. It's located under the "Subscription Summary" heading. Your subscription to HBO Now will now end after the current billing cycle.
