Diablo III is an action role playing game set in a fantasy, demonic world where your character must defeat the Lord of Terror - Diablo. Barbarians are savage wanderers who never flinch from close-quarters combat. Mighty ground stomps, leaping attacks, and dual-wielded slashes leave a barbarian’s enemies dead in their boots and send any survivors fleeing for cover. The barbarians are the main close-range combatants of Diablo III.
Steps
Part 1
Part 1 of 3:Knowing the Right Skills
Part 1
-
1Get Battle Rage. This will be your main fury generator. The skill will also give additional damage and critical hits.
-
2Get Whirlwind Hurricane. This will be your main damage-dealing skill. It's an AOE that, when paired with Battle Rage, creates an AOE that deals a lot of critical hits.Advertisement
-
3Get Sprint Run. This skill, along with Whirlwind Hurricane, will be your main damage dealer. This skill helps generate fury as well as increase your movement speed and enables you to have more mobility.Advertisement
Part 2
Part 2 of 3:Learning About Stats
Part 2
-
1Increase your Critical Strike Chance. This is the most important part of this build as it generates your fury. Do not let this stat go below 35% since it will become inefficient.
-
2Get Life Steal. This adds to your survivability since Barbarians aren't tanks by nature. Life Steal helps you make up for it.
-
3Increase your attack speed. Having a higher attack speed will make your Whirlwind and Tornado faster.
-
4Increase your Critical Strike Damage. Since the Barbarian will be relying on critical hits, this will further increase your damage.Advertisement
Part 3
Part 3 of 3:Obtaining the Necessary Equipment
Part 3
-
1Get the Immortal King set. This will boost your survivability and allow you to last longer and tank more damage.
-
2Socket Good Rubies into your chest piece. Get three if you can afford to. This build relies heavily on your damage output, as such, rubies will be a good asset.
-
3Get +Critical Damage and +Attack Speed on your gloves and bracers. A little bit more extra damage can't hurt since you already have the resistance from the Immortal King set, assuming you got that set.
-
4Get either a +Critical Chance or a +Critical Damage on your amulet. These can be a bit pricey. If you can't afford it, get a +% to health instead.
-
5Get rings that have +Critical Chance, +Critical Damage, or +Attack Speed. Any of these would be beneficial to the Barbarian.
-
6Get items with either Vitality or Strength. These are the two main armor stats that you should be focused on.
-
7Get an on-hand and off-hand weapons. The weapons must have sockets for Emeralds for additional critical damage; it should also have either +Attack Speed or +Critical Damage.Advertisement
