Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225g) egg noodles (about 5 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 1/2 cups boiling water

    Preheat oven to 325ºF/170ºC.

    Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.

    Spray a 1 1/2-quart (1.4 liter) casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Add the egg noodles to the casserole dish.

    Sprinkle the noodles with salt.

    Add the margarine to the hot water.

    Pour the hot water mixture over the noodles.
