This wikiHow teaches you how to add your phone number to Twitter on your Android device.

Steps

    Open Twitter. It’s the blue icon with a white bird in the app drawer.
    • If you’re not already signed in, enter your account information and tap Log In.

    Tap your profile photo. It’s at the top-left side of the screen.

    Tap Settings and privacy.
  4. 4
    Tap Account.
  5. 5
    Tap Phone number.
  6. 6
    Tap Update phone.
  7. 7
    Enter your phone number. Be sure to enter your area code and/or country code, if applicable.

    Tap Update phone. Twitter will send a code via text message to confirm your phone number. The confirmation should complete automatically. When the process is complete, you’ll see “Your phone number has been successfully updated.”
    • If your number is not automatically confirmed you’ll have to enter the code manually. Tap Enter code manually and enter the code from the text message.
