How to Add Friends on Sweatcoin on Android

This wikiHow shows you how to search for and add friends to your Sweatcoin profile with Sweatcoin’s referral offer and by searching for friends already on Sweatcoin.

Inviting Friends to Join Sweatcoin

Open the Sweatcoin app. This has a white icon with a black “S” in it that can be accessed from your apps drawer.
- In order to add friends on Sweatcoin, you’ll need to send them some Sweatcoins. To do this, you’ll need to add them by username. To see how to do this in full detail, refer to the second method, “Adding Friends on Sweatcoin by Sending Sweatcoins.”

Tap the Get $5 Now button. This should appear on the main menu page for Sweatcoin. Once selected, a menu will pop up asking you to search for friends to invite to join Sweatcoin, which is the Find and Invite Friends page.
- If the Get $5 Now option doesn’t display, you can access the Find and Invite Friends menu by tapping the staircase icon in the top-left corner. Once there, you can tap on the add friends icon (a blue circle with the outline of a person and a plus sign in it) to add.

Select a method for adding friends. In the Find and Invite Friends menu, you’ll have the option to add friends from your phone’s contacts, Facebook Connect, or by sending a unique referral link via social media or text.

Select the friend(s) you want to add. Once you’ve selected a method for adding friends, you can search for them in the appropriate menu.

Adding Friends by Sending Sweatcoins

Open the Sweatcoin app. This has a white icon with a black “S” in it that can be accessed from your apps drawer.

Tap your profile picture. This is located in the bottom-center of the main menu, underneath the display showing your steps converted to Sweatcoins.

Select Wallet. The wallet is where you can see how much you’ve accrued in Sweatcoins and select options for using those Sweatcoins.

Tap Transfer. Once you select this, a menu will pop up with blank fields for entering the recipient and transfer amount.

Enter your friend’s username and the amount you wish to send. Enter their username in the top field and type in an amount (preferably a small amount) in the bottom field.

Tap the Search tab. This is located at the top of the menu that opens when you select Transfer. You can select this if you want to verify that you have the right username entered for transferring Sweatcoins.

Type in the username of a friend you want to send Sweatcoins to. If the person you want to add is already on Sweatcoin, their profile should pop up in the search results.

Tap Send. Once you’ve sent that person Sweatcoins, they’ll be added to your friends list.
