Steps

1Open the Photos app. It's the icon with the color swatches in the shape of a flower usually located on your home screen.

3Tap the People album.

4Tap the heart icon in the lower corner of a picture.

5Enter the name of the person in the photo.
- Photos will search for people in your contacts. As you type, search matching contacts will filter below where you are typing. You can tap the name of the person from your contact list.

6Tap Next. It's on the top-right of the screen.

7Tap Done. Photos will search for all the pictures of that person in your entire collection.
- As you take more pictures, photos with that person will automatically be added to that person's album.
