    Open Google Photos on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the white icon with a multicolored pinwheel inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

    Tap the photo on which you want to leave a description.

    Tap the lowercase “i” in a circle. It’s at the bottom of the screen.

    Type a description. To start typing, tap the “Add a description” field at the top of the screen to bring up the keyboard.
