    Open the Google Photos app on your iPhone or iPad. The Photos icon looks like a colored pinwheel with red, green, orange, and blue curls. You can find it on your home screen or in a folder.

    Tap the image you want to edit. Find your picture on the list, and tap on it to open it full-screen.

    Tap the Add a description field. This option is at the top of the Info page. Here you can enter a description or caption for the selected picture.

    Enter a description or caption for your image. You can use your keyboard to type a caption, or long-press the text field and select Paste to paste text from your clipboard.
