Steps

    Go to https://photos.google.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your computer, such as Safari or Firefox, to access Google Photos.
    • If you’re not already signed in to Google, follow the on-screen instructions to sign in now.

    Click a photo or video.

    Click the white “i” in a circle. It’s at the top-right corner of the photo or video. This slides out the “Info” sidebar.
    • If you don’t see this icon, hover your mouse over the preview to make it appear.

    Click Add a description. It’s the first blank at the top of the “Info” sidebar.

    Type a caption.
  6. 6
    Click X. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your caption is now saved.
