How to Activate the Dark Theme on Opera Browser

Do you like using a dark theme on your browser? Opera is available in light and dark colours. With a few quick clicks, you can enable the dark mode and make the screen easier on your eyes.

From the Start Page

Open Opera. Make sure that you are using the latest version of Opera browser.

Click on the start page customization icon. You can find it in the top-right corner.

Select Dark from the Themes.

From the Opera Settings

Open Settings in the latest version of Opera. Click on Menu in the left corner and select Settings from the list.
- Alternatively, you can press Alt+P on your keyboard to open the Settings page.

Click on Browser from the left side.

Scroll down to “Appearance”. Toggle the grey switch right after the Enable dark theme option.

Enjoy your dark view! Follow the same steps to get back the light theme.
